Dear students,
one of the students that attended yesterday’s midterm developed covid-19 symptoms this morning and tested positive on the rapid test.
Knowing that covid-infected people are infectious even (if not mostly) prior to developing symptoms and not knowing if the student was vaccinated(and hence less infectious), I suggest you take the matter seriously, especially the unvaccinated participants and/or those who wore a surgical mask(i.e. almost no protection after cca. 10min).
I will report the list of all of the participants and NIJZ will then impose quarantine to the appropriate subset of you.
Until then: please be careful, wear ffp2 masks, test yourself with rapid tests (everyday for the next 5 days if possible), take care of room ventilation and, of course, do not go anywhere if you develop symptoms.
